
Fathimath Naseer

Biography
Asst. Professor Fathimath Naseer is an HCPC-registered clinical dietitian specialising in nutrition and behavioural change strategies for obesity and metabolic health management.
She began her dietetics career in 2009 at Singapore’s National University Hospital, where she developed broad clinical expertise before becoming Lead Dietitian at the Centre for Obesity and Metabolic Surgery. In this role, she led multidisciplinary efforts to deliver patient-centred care and advance research in metabolic health.
Her commitment to evidence-based practice led her to join the Nutrition Innovation Centre for Food and Health (NiCHE) in the UK, where she contributed to a £2 million US-Ireland R&D Partnership on weight management, working alongside global experts.
Her work has been presented at major international conferences (FENS, BDA, IFSO), published in leading journals, and featured in media outlets including Channel NewsAsia, The Straits Times and Lianhe Zaobao.
She is committed to translating nutrition and behavioural change science into real-world impact through clinical practice, education and policy.
