Arrival and Directions
Guests are encouraged to arrive at least one (1) hour prior to the ceremony. The Auditorium doors will be open at the same time. For more information, please view Venue.
Graduands may inform the Registrar’s Office if there are attending guests who are mobility challenges (e.g. in wheelchairs, using crutches), during the online registration. Guests with mobility challenges may alight at the main lobby of SIT@Dover, University Tower lobby. After the graduand’s registration of attendance, ushers will assist you to the Auditorium.
The Auditorium doors will be open one (1) hour prior to the ceremony. All graduands and guests are to be seated at least 20 minutes before the start of the ceremony to ensure that the ceremony starts punctually. Please present your Guest Invitation Card for admission to the ceremony. Each invitation card admits one person only. Children below the age of seven (7) are not permitted in the Auditorium. Guests without the invitation cards may view the live webcast of the ceremony outside the Auditorium. Seating in the Auditorium is on a first-come, first-served basis and no reservation of seats is allowed. Guests who arrive late will not be allowed to enter the Auditorium.
During the Ceremony
Graduation is a formal and solemn event and guests are requested to remain seated. Photographs of the graduates will be taken by the official photographers. The photo gallery of the ceremony photos taken throughout the event is available on the Serangoon Broadway's website from 23 October 2018 onwards. As a mark of courtesy, please refrain from leaving the auditorium until the ceremony ends.
End of Ceremony
Light refreshments are prepared for graduates and guests at the Academic Plaza of SIT@Dover. Ushers will lead you to the reception area. As there is an afternoon session for each day, we seek your cooperation to free up your parking spaces for the guests.
