CSIT Book Prize in Secured Software Development

The CSIT Book Prize in Secured Software Development is established at SIT to encourage Information and Communications Technology (ICT) students to seek greater heights of academic excellence. The award is open to ICT students commencing from the AY2015 intake.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must meet the following criteria:

  • Undergraduate pursuing the full-time degree Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Information and Communications Technology (Software Engineering) at SIT
  • Achieved outstanding academic results in the Secured Software Development module (Course code: ICT3103)

About the Donor

This book prize has been made possible with a gift from Centre for Strategic Infocomm Technologies (CSIT), an agency in the Ministry of Defence that focuses on R&D and solutions development in information and communications technologies to fulfil the strategic needs of Singapore.

Formed on 1 Feb 2013, CSIT has deep in-house technological expertise spanning a good spectrum of disciplines within the Infocomm field to address a wide range of technological problems. In its effort to develop robust solutions for the country’s strategic needs, CSIT leverages commercial expertise and works closely with local institutions, defence R&D and support organisations.
