The SkillsFuture Work-Study Degree (WSDeg) places a high level of collaboration between academia and industry partners to provide prospective students with deep industry knowledge and meaningful career opportunities for the workplace.

SIT collaborates with industry partners to co-deliver an academic-cum-industry curriculum. SIT imparts the technical knowledge and essential skills, while industry partners provide students  with exposure to real-world challenges and validate their learning in the workplace. This provides employers with a structured approach to develop their talent pipeline and assess potential hires, while they are undergoing their studies with SIT.

    • Students will be given a stronger grounding of theory in real work environments, equipping them to become job-ready employees right upon graduation.
    • While applying what they have learnt in school at work, they will also be supported by their companies. This may include, but is not restricted to, tuition fee sponsorship, stipends, and sign-on bonuses.
    • Students will gain the opportunity to learn more about the company’s work culture.
    • They may be offered career opportunities with the partner company upon graduation.
