The SIT Postgraduate Certificate in Data Engineering and Smart Factory (PGCert DESF) is designed to equip engineers for greater business competitiveness amidst the exponential growth in robotic automation, information and communication technologies.

The modules, jointly developed by the faculties in Engineering and Infocomm Technology, can be taken individually or stack towards a PGCert DESF. Each module is worth 6 credits.

Modules Available

Modules are stackable towards a Postgraduate Certificate in Data Engineering and Smart Factory. They can also be taken individually.

Candidates will be awarded an PGCert DESF if they pass 4 modules totalling 24 credits with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of ≥ 2.5.

Prerequisites
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • Other candidates may be admitted on a case-by-case basis upon evaluation by the course director

Certificate and Assessment

A Certificate of Participation will be issued to participants who:

  • Attend at least 75% of the module; and
  • Undertake non-credit bearing assessment during the course

A Certificate of Attainment for each module will be issued to participants who:

  • Attend at least 75% of the module; and
  • Undertake and pass credit bearing assessment during the course
