The Silent Minority Bursary was established to support financially disadvantaged and worthy undergraduates pursuing a full-time degree programme at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
Each bursary is valued at S$5,000 and is tenable for one Academic Year.
The bursary will be used to fund the recipient’s tuition fees, course materials and other education-related expenses.
Recipient of this Bursary may hold another bursary concurrently.
No bond is required of the recipient.

This Bursary has been made possible with a gift from The Silent Foundation Ltd, a registered charity in Singapore founded on 14 July 2010 by Mr Teng Ngiek Lian. The Foundation is dedicated to assisting “silent sufferers”, a term that refers to those who have been overlooked by the society and tend to be voiceless.
