Autonomous Surface Vessel
Mechatronics Systems

An autonomous, unmanned vessel prototype that has obstacle detection, location data reporting, and waypoint navigation features. This was proposed and implemented as an exploratory project to solve the issue of congested ports in Singapore.

Vessel Monitoring and Management System
Mechatronics Systems

To be in line with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal 13: Climate Action, this project aims to reduce carbon emissions from vessels using two approaches. Firstly, a digitized, real-time vessel monitoring system has been implemented; Secondly, a digitized vessel management workflow has been proposed with the integrated real-time vessel monitoring data.

Smart Smith Machine
Mechatronics Systems

This project aims to integrate a Smith Machine — a versatile equipment allowing users to perform different kinds of workouts — onto the SmartGym platform. The AI-based computer vision sub-system is able to detect the workout load and track progress automatically.

Autonomous Fixed Wing Drone
Mechatronics Systems

An autonomous fixed-wing drone that has manual and autonomous capabilities with a minimum one-hour flight endurance. This project was developed for Jurong Island surveillance.
