Student Relief Fund @ SIT (COVID-19) By making possible this Fund, more than 70 donors are giving their support to those of our students who have been hit the hardest by the pandemic. Will you join them? Amidst the COVID-19 outbreak, a new student relief fund has been established at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT), thanks to prompt action from some 72 generous donors so far. As at 13 May 2020, more than $819,000 in gifts and pledges had been made towards the Student Relief Fund at SIT (COVID-19). This Fund will provide grants (of up to $2,000 each) to undergraduates at SIT who are facing financial emergencies as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, many of whom are the first in their families to attend university. We hope to help as many of them as possible – starting with the first 250 – in the current Academic Year (AY) 2019/20 and possibly the next AY (which will begin in September 2020) as well, if the Fund has not been fully disbursed by then. Fundraising efforts are still ongoing and we very much hope for your generous giving, so that even more students at SIT will be supported!
