Tints

Tints can be used across the SIT brand to help create flexibility across communications, especially in content-heavy instances such as reports and infographics. They can be used to highlight and frame content, allowing information to be easily understood. Tints work well as backgrounds as copy can be easily read when placed on top; they also work well next to imagery and additionally complement the accent palette.
A 70% tint of black can be used for body copy where required. This can be a softer, more refined way of presenting body copy in instances where black feels too heavy and harsh.

To complement the primary colour palatte, a palette of supporting accent colours comprising of warm and soft colours may be used.
Accent colours are used to complement our primary logo for subtle shading and highlighting elements to create contrast. For example, accent colours can be used when creating illustrations, icons, and as backgrounds or in design elements to accompany the logo colour. Headings can appear in the accent colours provided they are used purposefully. While it is highly recommended to use the colours in the accent colour palette, where necessary, users may also use other colours within the same family that best suit their collaterals.
