Mendaki Tertiary Tuition Fee Subsidy (TTFS)

TTFS Reapplicaton for Higher Subsidy for Existing Students (before 31 July 2020)

Existing students under the Mendaki TTFS subsidy of 50% and 75% may reapply for a higher subsidy if their household income has been affected by the Covid-19 precautionary measures put in place by the government.

Application can be done at before 31 July 2020. Students will be required to furnish the latest income documents to prove the reduction in family income. Do note that the revised subsidy is only eligible for fee payment from AY2020/2021 onward.


AY2020 Application Periods:

Term 1: 01 June - 31 July 2020 

Term 2: 15 Nov - 15 Dec 2020


Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Singaporean Malay undergraduates receiving MOE Tuition Fee Grant. 

    • The TTFS is applicable to all races of Malay Descent (includes Malay, Acehnese, Ambonese, Batak, Bugis, Baniarese, Boyanese, Butonese, Dusun, Dayak, Iban, Indonesia, Javanese, Kadazan, Kelabit, Minangkabau, Murut, Makasarese, Melanau, Sumatran, Sundanese, and Indonesian Extract). 

    • Students with Malay as their first component race of a double-barrelled race (e.g. Malay-Indian or Malay-Chinese) are also eligible for the scheme. 

  2. Students who come from households with per capita monthly household income (PCI) of below $2,000.

The income criteria are based on a three-tier system where students who come from households with per capita monthly household income (PCI) of below $2,000 will be eligible for the following TTFS subsidies:

$1,401 - $1,700


$1,701 - $2,000



Application Procedure:
Submit an online application via MENDAKI website. Students who wish to apply for the TTFS outside of the stipulated application cycles are to contact MENDAKI directly to appeal for a late application.
