Student with COVID-19 Recovered

Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) is glad to welcome back our Year 3 Telematics student who has fully recovered from his earlier COVID-19 infection last month. He was discharged from Ng Teng Fong General Hospital this week and has since returned to SIT.

Throughout his period of hospitalisation SIT kept in close communication with him to ensure his well-being, as well as in supporting his interest in continuing schoolwork through e-learning.

We are also happy that the students and staff who were placed on a 14-day Leave of Absence (LOA) or Quarantine Order (QO) due to close contact with the confirmed COVID-19 case in SIT have completed their LOA/QO and are back in SIT.

The health and safety of the SIT community remains our utmost priority. We will continue with the necessary precautionary measures, including temperature screening and health declaration for all staff, students and visitors, as well as cancellation/postponement of non-essential activities, and implementation of e-learning for class sizes of over 50 people.
