The Applied Materials Bursary

The Applied Materials bursary was established to support financially disadvantaged and deserving undergraduates pursuing a full-time degree programme at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).

 

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Students enrolled in the following full-time undergraduate degree programmes at SIT:
  • Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing Engineering (Singapore Institute of Technology – Newcastle University)
  • Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Electrical Power Engineering (Singapore Institute of Technology – Newcastle University)
  • Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechanical Engineering (Singapore Institute of Technology – University of Glasgow)
  • Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechanical Design Engineering (University of Glasgow)
  • Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Mechatronics (University of Glasgow)
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering & Information Technology (Technical University of Munich)
  • Singapore Citizens.
  • Household Per Capita Income (PCI) of less than or equal to S$850.

 

Tenure and Benefits of the Bursary:

  • Each bursary is valued at S$5,000 and is tenable for one Academic Year.
  • The bursary will be used to fund the recipient’s educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, and fees for other educational activities organised by the Institute.
  • Recipient of this bursary may hold another bursary concurrently.
  • No bond is required of the recipient.
