SIT Graduate Scholarship
The Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) Graduate Scholarship is designed for outstanding graduates and industry professionals with excellent academic results, strong industry insights and leadership abilities, and passion for educating the future generations. Upon successful completion of their doctoral degree, successful scholars may join the ranks of SIT’s faculty.
- Have obtained at least a 2nd Upper Class Honours degree or equivalent in relevant disciplines
- Preferably with 2 years of working experience
- Have a strong passion for teaching and research
Areas of Study
The scholarship is tenable for a PhD programme at an university approved by SIT in any of the following disciplines:
- Financial Accounting
Air Transport Management:
- Airline Management
- Airport Management
- Naval Architecture
- Hotel Management
- Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
- Big Data Processing and Data Analytics
- Cyber Security in Transportation or Smart Infrastructure
- Cloud Architecture and Computing
- 5G Communication and Beyond
The scholarship provides for:
Full tuition fees and other compulsory fees for the programme
Monthly living and other related allowances
Economy class return air passage
Interested applicants may submit their applications during the application cycle from 8 June 2020 to 7 July 2020. The applications should be accompanied by a proposal of the PhD topic in any of the abovementioned disciplines.
Shortlisted candidates will be notified to attend up to 2 rounds of selection interviews between July and August 2020.
Award Period and Obligation
The award is tenable for the minimum period required for the completion of the doctoral degree. Scholars will be required to serve a bond of five years with SIT upon completion of their study.
