Naterra Resources International Scholarship

The Naterra Resources International Scholarship was established to support deserving students enrolled in the Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Civil Engineering and Bachelor of Arts in Game Design degree programmes at the Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT).

Eligibility Criteria

Full-time undergraduates pursuing any of the following programmes at the Institute:
- Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Civil Engineering
- Bachelor of Arts in Game Design
Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents.
Have achieved outstanding academic results as the Institute may in its sole discretion determine.
Preference will be given to students with a monthly household Per Capita Income (PCI) of $1,000 or less.

Tenure and Benefits of Scholarship

Each Scholarship, valued at $7,500, is applicable for one (1) academic year.
The Scholarship shall be used for the recipients' educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, or expenses related to approved regional study trips or educational activities organised by the Institute.
Recipients of this Scholarship may continue to receive this scholarship in a subsequent year of study, provided that good academic results are maintained, and with the recommendation of the Institute and the selection by the Selection Committee.
Recipients may accept other scholarships concurrently.

About the Donor

The Scholarship is made possible by a gift from Naterra Resources International Pte Ltd, a coal mining company and developer and exporter of Primagrills BBQ briquettes and PrimaHeat industrial use briquettes.

How To Apply

Applications for Public Bursaries, Donated Bursaries & Scholarships will commence in July 2022. Do keep a look out for more information which will be sent to your SIT e-mail address.

Matriculated students may access the online application form via the SIT Student Intranet - IN4SIT.

Applicants will need to complete and submit the online application form after uploading all required supporting documents through the application portal by the given deadline. Scholarship applicants are expected to upload an endorsed Letter of Recommendation and their SIT Record of Achievement (where applicable).
