The McLink Scholarship

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicant must be pursuing a degree programme in Information and Communications Technology offered at SIT

• Singapore Citizens

• Good academic results

• Have good character record

• Make significant contributions beyond academic studies to the institute or the community

• Preference will be given to applicants with a Household Per Capita Income (PCI) less than or equal to S$ 850

Benefits and Obligation of Scholarship

• Valued at S$10,000 the scholarship is applicable for one academic year

• The Scholarship will be used for recipient’s educational expenses such as tuition fees, course materials, expenses for Overseas Immersion Programme conducted by the institute and fees for other educational activities organised by the institute

• Recipients may apply again after the applicable period of the scholarship has expired, subject to meeting selection criteria

• Recipient may be offered an Integrated Work Study Programme (IWSP) opportunity with the donor

• Subject to the agreement by the donor, the scholarship recipients who are offered an IWSP opportunity with the Donor is encouraged to complete 12 month of IWSP with the Donor for each year the scholarship is awarded, if IWSP is applicable for the student in that academic year

• Recipients may hold other scholarship(s) concurrently
