SEM2202 (PHY250 & PHY250L) Waves, Optics, and Thermodynamics

Theory (PHY250):

  • This course presents the fundamentals of fluid dynamics, oscillations, waves, and thermodynamics.

Lab (PHY250L):

  • This course presents the concepts taught in PHY250 in the laboratory in a series of experiments.
  • Experimental report writing is required.

HSC1004 Psychological and Sociological Perspectives for Health Sciences

In this module, students will be taught sociological and psychological concepts applied to the healthcare sector. The Associate Faculty will only be involved in teaching students the psychological concepts, as well as their applications to both the experimental and the clinical settings, enriching their skillset as health professionals and researchers.

This segment will encompass the central psychological domains:
biological, behavioural, cognitive, personality, emotions, and mental health.

In addition to the applied learning focus pertaining to health, this module is designed to foster critical thinking. Learning activities include viewing recorded lectures, reading textbooks, accessing e-materials and participating in synchronous seminars.

Requirements

  • Postgraduate degree in Psychology or related
  • Experience in teaching
  • Work well in a team
  • Able to conduct tutorials during working hours (0830-1800)
