Robin Ngan

Robin Ngan holds dual appointments as Director of National Centre of Excellence (NACE) at Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) and SITLEARN Professional Development, SIT’s lifelong learning division in supporting workplace learning and workforce transformation through the SkillsFuture movement. Robin joined SIT in 2015 to set up the lifelong learning Division and capabilities. To date, SIT has trained over 14,000 adult learners. He is passionate in helping individuals, organisations, and society to stay adaptable, relevant, and nimble through lifelong education.
Prior to SIT, Robin was Head of Customized Executive Programmes at the Executive Education office at National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School. He partnered Global Chief Learning Officers, Group HR Directors and Learning and Development teams from leading organisations around the world and Asia on leadership development programmes that drives business and organisational outcomes. He also works closely with program directors, faculty, and executive coaches in designing innovative and impactful learning interventions and solutions.
Robin graduated with a Master's in Education and Human Resource Development from the George Washington University (GWU) in 2011. He is also an avid lifelong learner who continues to learn and put into practice his skills in leadership development, executive coaching, action learning, andragogy, facilitation, and career coaching. With a passion to grow leaders, develop learning organizations and transform workforce capabilities, Robin’s aspires to be a trusted partner to individuals and organizations.

Mr Randy Choo

Randy has held senior positions in several US and European MNCs, as well as in several Singapore government agencies. In his career, he has built up and managed various business operations, both local and in the region. As Plant Manager, he managed P&L with a turnover of $30 million. As Regional Director, he managed close to 200 staff in 8 APAC countries from Taiwan to Australia.
Randy has also been involved in Lean Six Sigma for more than 20 years and he has led operations excellence initiatives in several companies. In addition, he has headed several key corporate functions like Human Resource and Strategic Planning. With his extensive experience, Randy is well-positioned to work with companies to achieve business excellence. Randy holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) from the National University of Singapore and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Adelaide. He is also ACLP certified.

Dr Angelina Tan
angelina.tan@singaporetech.edu.sg
Angelina specialises in Lean thinking and practice, and has implemented Lean in various industries, from healthcare and finance to food and education. She is proficient in A3 Thinking, Value Stream Mapping, PDCA, 5S and Kanban Systems, Visual Management, and Strategy Deployment. Angelina has engaged both SMEs and large organisations.
She works closely with the staff, guiding them on their Lean journey to achieve their goals of continuous improvement and efficiency in their workplace.
Some key projects include:
- Streamlining procurement and finance processes at NTUC Learning Hub and St Luke’s ElderCare
- Standard work at an international port group, NTUC Health, and Yishun Community Hospital
- Inventory management and Kanban system implementations at Four Seasons’ Catering, St Luke’s Elder Care, and Yishun Community Hospital
- Redesigning workflow and eliminating process wastes at Yishun Community Hospital, Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital and Four Seasons Group
- Reducing patient waiting time for consultations, improving patient flow in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and reducing waiting time for medication at the Pharmacy at the National Heart Centre Singapore (NHCS)
In addition to her work with SMEs and organisations, Angelina also conducts lean workshops where she teaches lean concepts using hands-on lean simulation games that she has developed.
