Financial Assistance - Bursaries

Eligibility

• Singapore Citizens (SC) pursuing their first MOE-subsidised undergraduate degrees (i.e not already holding the same or higher qualifications than the level they are pursuing).
• Gross monthly household per capita income (PCI) of less than or equal to S$850

• Students receiving the bursary must not concurrently hold the MOE Bursary, other scholarships, or bursaries except for bursaries administered by SIT.

Quantum

• S$2,900 per award per annum
• Bursary is tenable on a yearly basis

Repayment

• Not required.

Application Procedures

1. Students who wish to apply for the CDC/CCC-University Bursary are required to complete the CDC/CCC Application Form found in the Student Portal.
2. Students will need to print and submit the application form, checklist and relevant supporting documents to the Admissions Division.
3. For new students, the bursary application form can only be obtained after the receipt of the matriculation number.

Disbursement of Funds

1. The Admissions Division will inform you of the application outcome via email within 3 months after the application closing date.

2. Your respective Community Centres will send you a notification letter on the disbursement details.
 

Bursaries will only be disbursed if tuition fees are charged.

• Gross monthly household per capital income (PCI) of less than or equal to S$1,700 per month.

 Gross income refers to amount before deduction of CPF, and includes allowances, overtime, commissions etc.

• Students receiving the bursary must not concurrently hold other scholarships or bursaries.

Quantum

• For Gross monthly household per capita income  < S$1,200, bursary quantum is S$2,150 per annum
• For Gross monthly household per capita income > S$1,200 and < S$1,700, bursary quantum is S$800 per annum
• Bursary is tenable on a yearly basis

Repayment

• Not required.

1. Students who wish to apply for the MOE Bursary are required to complete the MOE Bursary Application Form found in the Student Portal.
2. Students will need to print and submit the application form, checklist and relevant supporting documents to the Admissions Division.

Eligibility

• Singapore Citizens (SC) or Malaysian Citizens (SPR/IS) pursuing their full-time undergraduate degree.

• Students receiving the bursary must not hold MOE bursary or other scholarship.

• Computation is based on gross monthly household per capital income (PCI).

Gross income refers to amount before deduction of CPF, and includes allowances, overtime, commissions etc.

Quantum

• Up to twenty (20) bursary awards of S$3,000.00 each per academic year.

Repayment

• Not required.

Application Procedures

• Students who wish to apply for the Xiao De（孝德）Bursary are required to complete the Xiao De（孝德）Bursary Application Form found in the Student Portal.

• Students will need to print and submit the application form, checklist and relevant supporting documents to the Admissions Division.

• Applicants will be shortlisted for an interview only upon application.

Application Period

• 1st April 2013 - 12th April 2013 (Subject to changes)

• Funds will be credited into the nominated bank account.
