ASMI-Marine Technology Scholarship
Offered by the Association of Singapore Marine Industries (ASMI)
Organised by the Association of Singapore Marine Industries (ASMI), a non-profit trade association that promotes the interests and advancement of the marine industry in Singapore, the Scholarships are sponsored by major shipyards – Keppel Offshore & Marine Ltd, Sembcorp Marine Ltd and Singapore Technologies Marine Ltd. The Scholarship Award aims at motivating SIT’s talent in the marine profession, and to spur them to achieve greater heights of academic excellence and become leaders in the marine industry.
Eligibility
- The Applicant must have been offered a place for a full-time undergraduate Marine Technology programme with the SIT and its overseas partner organisation, and accepted the same
- Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident
- Good academic results in engineering
- Good leadership and communication skills

Newcastle University
- Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Naval Architecture
- Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Marine Engineering
- Bachelor of Engineering with Honours in Offshore Engineering

Obligations
Upon graduation, the scholar is required to serve a three-year bond with the scholarship provider or sponsor.
The date of commencement of the bond will be decided between the scholar and the scholarship provider at the time of the award of the Scholarship.
