Overseas Exposure

Overseas Immersion Programme

Overseas Immersion Programme (OIP) is compulsory for all students pursuing programmes awarded by our Overseas University Partners. The programme aims to provide greater learning experiences in their alma mater. It includes lectures, hands-on project work, workshops and industry visits. Students will interact with their university professors and mentors while experiencing life abroad with their fellow overseas counterparts.

Overseas Exposure Programme

The Overseas Exposure Programme (OEP) aims to expose students to industry best practices, gain cross-cultural awareness, and broaden their horizons. It is an optional component of SIT’s undergraduate degree programmes. OEP is programme-specific and is usually held over the trimester breaks, lasting for about a week. Participation in OEP will be reflected in a student’s Record of Achievement.

Students on both OIP and OEP are eligible to apply for financial aid and will be notified of the application period and procedures nearer the date of the programme.
