Design
Design is more than just a mathematical formula or a technical skill. It is a thinking process that requires a combination of creativity, imagination, technical know-how and understanding of what it takes to bring a product to a user-friendly level.
Design is increasingly recognised as an important aspect of production creation because it is what that sets a particular product apart from all the rest. It is Design that transforms an everyday product into a unique and meaningful experience.
Businesses and organisations all over the world are taking notice of the tremendous value of Design. In every industry, Design is being put to work to keep firms globally competitive, to create a more sustainable environment, and to improve the quality of people’s lives.
In Singapore, the power and influence of Design and the vibrancy of the Design sector are gaining attention.
