Career Development Roadmap

Step 1: Know Yourself

Knowing yourself is the first step to defining your goals and options. What are your strengths and weaknesses? What skills do you have? What are your interests and priorities?

• Attend the Self-discovery workshop

Step 2: Know the Industry

Once you have defined your interests, it is time to find out more about your chosen industry. What is the economic outlook and hiring trend? What skills does your dream job require? Are there any areas outside your industry that you want to explore?

• Do research
• Attend industry talks
• Do internships

Step 3: Brush up your skills

Now that you have a clearer idea of the companies and roles that you wish to pursue, you need to brush up your work and job-seeking skills.

• Prepare by attending Resume Writing, Interview Skills and Networking Skills Workshops
• Make use of our resume-editing services and platforms to craft your resume and practice mock interviews

Step 4: Market yourself

You’re all prepared, now go out and make yourself visible to employers.
