Students who have matriculated
Process for Application of Withdrawal
- Students who wish to apply for withdrawal must submit an online request via the Student Portal.
- SIT and the Overseas University Partner will then conduct an exit interview with the student.
- Students are required to download the "Withdrawal from SIT (Undergraduate Students)" form in the Student Portal and submit the completed form during the exit interview.
- A letter confirming the student's withdrawal from SIT will be sent to the student within three weeks from the date of the exit interview.
Post-Withdrawal Administrative details
- Students must return their Matriculation Card to the Academic Services Division.
- Students with a tertiary student concession card will not be eligible for concessionary travel upon withdrawal from SIT. However, the card can still be used to pay for transportation needs at adult fares for a period of 4 months before expiry. Students may request for a refund of any remaining value when they surrender the card at any TransitLink Ticket Office or TransitLink Card Replacement Office.
- Students holding a Student Pass issued by the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA), must surrender it to the ICA within seven days upon termination of study.
- Students who withdraw before their matriculation date will receive a full refund less S$107.00 (inclusive of GST) administrative fee;
- Students who choose to withdraw between their matriculation date and the start of their programme will receive a refund of 50% tuition fees less a S$107.00 (inclusive of GST) administrative fee;
- NO refund will be given for withdrawals after commencement of the programme or subsequent semesters.
